The Summer School will focus on cyber security in the transportation sector. Incidents and attacks in this sector can be widespread, affect large numbers of people and have serious consequences. As a result of technological developments, the sector is moving towards digitalisation and automation - self-driving cars, autonomous ships, etc. Therefore, raising awareness and increasing cooperation and mutual understanding between transportation and cyber security experts are particularly important.
The Cyber Security Summer School will bring PhD students, high-profile specialists, researchers, and domain
experts into a dialogue about the most urgent security issues in the transportation
sector. In addition to inspiring speakers, we will have groups of participants working with mentors who will tackle pressing problems ranging from strategic/political challenges to technical vulnerabilities.
