- Cyber Security Summer School 2021
- News
This year the Winter School will focus on cybersecurity in the transportation sector, especially on the automotive sector. Incidents and attacks in this sector can be widespread, affect large numbers of people and have serious consequences. As a result of technological developments, the sector is moving towards digitalisation and automation - self-driving cars, autonomous ships, drones, etc. Therefore, raising awareness and increasing cooperation and mutual understanding between transportation and cybersecurity experts are particularly important.
The Cyber Security Summer School has traditionally been a hands-on event with students closely working together with mentors on solving problems in cybersecurity. Many events in 2020 have made extensive changes and developed online formats. As the year continues to be difficult and challenging for event organisers, restrictions on gatherings and travel continue to be imposed, so in order not to put anyone’s health at risk we have decided not to move forward with the traditional concept of on-site event.
Nevertheless, we have good news! The event will be held online and we create a new and exciting concept making a remote participation possible.
